Serbian Haiku Society

I am glad to inform you that Serbian Haiku Society was founded on 22 October 2004 in Valjevo. It is the first national society of haiku poets in Serbia.
Dejan Bogojevic is appointed a president of the society and Jasminka Nadaskic Djoredjevic a secretary. Appointed members of the governing council are: Sasa Vazic, Milivoj Kostic, Milica Ilic Gacic, Aleksandar Sevo, Danijela Bogojevic, Zoran Doderovic and Dragan J. Ristic.

The Serbian Haiku Society immediately starts with work and the activities in the sphere of promoting domestic haiku and participation of our haiku poets in all important haiku manifestations and associations in the world.

We are preparing the first issue of Haiku Herald (of Serbian Haiku Society) a very important informative haiku magazine. The first isue of the magazine will be published in the begining of December of 2004. We hope that our cooperation with you and all the haiku friends in the world will be sincere and long-lasting.
