Croatia
clear sky
split in two –
cracked windshield
the watch has
stopped --
waiting for
my blind date
mother reading
nursery rhymes--
the cat purrs
empty chair
--
Blossoming branches
dance in the window, unnoticed.
distant party
noise--
my business card
on the walkway
southern winds--
the dryer
clanks
a patch of sunlight
on the wall –
the child reaches
to grab it.
jaywalker --
her face hidden
under a green umbrella
glistening pond,
A drowning bee rushes toward
a melting mud clod
