izlog ribarnice
sitne mrtve oči
posmatraju svet

fish market window
dead small eyes
look at the world

gradsko nebo
samo poneka zvezda
u carstvu neona

city sky
some star
in the neon kingdom

Lokva na putu.
Dečak neće da stane
na ogledalo.

Pond on the road.
Boy doesn't want
to step on the mirror.

Zubato sunce.
Na prtini samo ja
i crni gavran.

Winter sun.
Alond the path only me
and the black raven.

krljušti riba
zasjale toplinom
umirućeg sunca

the fish scales
shining with warmth
of dying Sun

u košari
plodovi ljeta
pokriveni zimom

covered by the winter
fruits of the summer
in a basket

Djurdja Pavlaković
Velika Gorica, Croatia

u krošnji lipe
odmaraju vrapci
tihi na pljusku

n the linden tree
the sparrows are resting
silent in the rain

nanizale se
na grani kapi kiše –
niska bisera

threaded drops of the rain
on the bough –
string of pearls

Kamin u sobi
izgubio zaposlenje.
Nova vremena...

The hearth in my room
has lost its employment.
New times...

Teška obala.
Masnih opuštenih krila
umire galeb.

By the shore
with its oiled wings
a seagull dying.

Bacaju sjene
na padinu planine
oblaci.

Throwing shadows
onto the mountain slopes
the clouds

Sparni suton
dvorišta obilaze
krijesnice.

A sultry sunset
the fireflies visiting
the yards.

Sastaje se
na istom cvijetu
par leptira

Having a meeting
on the same flower
two butterflies

uvijek iznova
zaspi na okretištu
tramvajski noćnik

again and again
he falls asleep at the loop
the tram's night passenger

čvrsto za ruke
djecu drže baloni
i roditelji

the baloons and the parents
hold little children
eadily for the hands

mjesečev titraj
lagano ljulja barku
oko ponoc'i

the Moon, reflected,
lightly shakes the vessel
at midnight

Alenka Zorman (#)
Ljubjana, Slovenia

hrast je še gol
sence njegovih vej
polne žafranov

oak is still naked
the shadows of its branches
full of crocuses

brstov še ni
vešča spleza po
listkih na zavesi

no sprouts yet
the moth climbs
a leaves-pattern curtain

pomladna moda
iz izložbe se mi nasmehne
aranžer

spring fashion
a window dresser
smiles to me
