This collection is made by 64 haiku and there are several senryus. Borivoj Bukva is one of several main haiku poets of Rijeka area. His haiku are published in some magazines and anthologies.

By the form Bukva's haiku aren't so much different from classical Japanese 5-7-5 way and for Croatian language it's the best solution. Also Bukva don't insist on "kigo"-word which, directly or indirect, is determined by four seasons.Bukva's haiku are by thematic mainly on usual way of the feeling "here and now".

I recommended that this collection of haiku of Borivoj Bukva from Rijeka will be accepted for printing and that will be published.

in a pool of water		  
The rich house
in the shining of silver, gold
and some lies

golden eyes
in woven basket.
Glance of a hen

  
  Dog's bark
in morning haze
my steps		  
 

Gipsy tent on the road.
Gipsy soul and
bear kept on a leash.

Smell of the pot.
Seasoned soup in
steam has vanished.
  On the furniture
a glass-shoe
and a rose.		  
  Dool party.
Midnight pleasure and
the Moon in the glass.		  
  Dance around the fire
with fire jumpers
Sprarks flying.
