Anti-War Haiku Wall
Legend of this photo.
"An unidentified Iraqi man holds an unidentified girl wounded after U.S.-led coalition air strikes over the southern Iraqi city of Basra, Saturday March 22, 2003. (AP Photo/Nabil)" AP for Associated Press. It comes from Lycos, an American News site, not an
Iraquian site. I received it from a friend of mine who received it from an American. I choose to publish it because it shows without veil what is really behind the "clean", "modern", "technological", "just" war, the "surgical hits", the nice images of "accurate" bombings. This girl is only a "collateral damages" for many people. I think we have to open our eyes to these realities. She is for me the image of the war.
