Classical haiku is an impersonal poem.

It describes the world in an objective way, without humain connotation in described actions and situations.

Sentences like 'the pond is falling asleep' cannot be found.

A rare counter-example by Maurice Coyaud :

boat and shore
are gossiping
a long day

Shiki.
